テニスの全米オープン第4日がアメリカ New Yorkで行われ、女子シングルス2回戦で、大坂なおみ（日本）とカロリナ ムホバ（チェコ）が対決した。
カロリナ ムホバは、第1セットを6-3で先取。第2セットを7-6で連取し、セットカウント2対0で勝利した。カロリナ ムホバは3回戦に進み、アナスタシア ポタポワと対戦予定だ。
